Autohaus Wallmeier is a car dealer and family business in the westphalian city Gronau, a city directly at the dutch border.Founded in 1968 the company started as a gas station by Hans-Otto Wallmeier. In 1970 a Renault Trader Contract was concluded and four years later the local competitor was taken over. In 1984 the company moved into the actual main company site. After the founders death in 87 his son Johannes Wallmeier has taken over the business. Within some years the company became the main Renault dealer in the area and opened two other dealerships and branches were opened in Stadtlohn, in Gronau-Epe and in the polish Ostrolenka. Since 2005 Autohaus Wallmeier is a Dacia trader and also contracted as an Opel dealer. In the meantime now under the management of Dennis Gritsch, Autohaus Wallmeier is represented furthermore as a family business with 2 locations and the brands Renault and Dacia. Renault as the sales-strongest brand in the area confirms the high satisfaction of the customers of Autohaus Wallmeier.
